“At the beginning of recruitment, I made the decision that I wanted to have fun with the process. I was determined to find the people who inspired me and who would encourage me to push my potential. I wanted to surround myself with sisters who are eager to learn, empower each other, and embrace everything that the world has to offer. What stood out to me about Alpha Gam was the passion that radiated from each conversation I had. Every girl was passionate about her major, her clubs, and her hobbies. I was inspired for my future at Tech as I listened; validated and heard as I talked. As exhausting as the rush process can be, every day I left Alpha Gam feeling more energized than when I walked in. Within my first year, my sisters have already empowered me to become a stronger, more confident leader. They show unwavering support at philanthropy mixers and Jewish holiday programs, and are the first to extend a tight hug when I need it most. In ADG, I love and feel loved unconditionally. I’m so grateful to love, lead, and last with this compassionate, driven sisterhood and I can’t wait to see what the next 4 years have in store. Thank you, Alpha Gam <3”

"Everyone loves to tell the story of how and why they chose their chapter in the beginning, but I prefer to explain why I continue to choose AGD every single day. I came to Georgia Tech in Fall of 2022 knowing no one, lacking a clear direction for my future here at Tech, and just feeling a little lost, hoping that I could at least make a few friends through rushing. AGD gave me so much more than just a few friends; it gave me a network of young women who have become respected mentors of mine, it gave me amazing relationships I would argue go much deeper than friendships, and most importantly, it gave me a home away from home. I am now a 2nd year that has held two positions of leadership for the chapter, and I love that I have been able to give back to AGD even a small percentage of what it has given me."

To gain understanding that wisdom may be vouchsafed to me. To develop and prize health and vigor of body. To cultivate acquaintance with many whom I meet. To cherish friendships with but a chosen few and to study the perfecting of those friendships. To welcome the opportunity of contributing to the world’s work in the community where I am placed because of the joy of service thereby bestowed and the talent of leadership multiplied. To honor my home, my country, my religious faith. To hold truth inviolable, sincerity essential, kindness invaluable. To covet beauty in environment, manner, word and thought. To possess high ideals and to attain somewhat unto them. This shall be my purpose that those who know me may esteem Alpha Gamma Delta for her attainments, revere her for her purposes and love her for her Womanhood.
