Olivia Blanchette

"Growing up as a dancer, I always had a team that felt like my sisters and home. I decided to go through recruitment because I was coming from out of state, knowing no one, and yearning to fill in that gap I had always been able to rely on. Alpha Phi has felt like home ever since sisterhood & preference round when I was able to be vulnerable about being passionate about those you love and was shown how much I would find that in this sisterhood. Throughout my two years at tech, Alpha Phi has given me the girls who I can stay up until 4 am laughing with, who I run to their room in the house if I need a shoulder to cry on, the women I look up to as inspirations and role models, and the people that feel like home wherever I go. I’ve never felt so supported and cheered on by such a large group of women in my life and it’s something I will be forever grateful for. My time here at Tech would not be the same without Alpha Phi and I would not change that for anything"

"My time in Alpha Phi has left me with the most exciting year of new experiences and lasting, impactful relationships with my sisters. Alpha Phi has provided me so much of the support and friendship that I needed while adjusting to life at Tech, and this organization has shown me that my sisters are dedicated, intelligent, and loving individuals who care for each other. I am so thankful to have joined this sisterhood where I am loved, and I am so excited for the coming year when I can welcome others into this sorority with the same support that was shown to me!"

Farah Alkarwe

"As a transfer student, I did not know anyone coming into Tech and I was so nervous about the idea of starting over and finding a new support system. I was not planning on rushing but once I met girls in Alpha Phi, I knew I wanted to COB and be surrounded by such genuine, intelligent, and kind-hearted girls. Alpha Phi introduced me to some of my favorite people ever and I am so lucky and thankful for Alpha Phi for making Georgia Tech home"
