Chapter Philanthropies

Being involved in CPC provides a valuable opportunity to make an impact within our surrounding Atlanta community. Each chapter supports a specific philanthropic organization and is passionate about raising funds and increasing awareness through community-wide philanthropy events and chapter activities.


 

ALPHA CHI OMEGA - Domestic Violence Awareness

Philanthropy Description:

Our philanthropy is Domestic Violence Awareness and all the funds we raise are located to a local Atlanta organization called Partnership Against Domestic Violence who works to house and rehabilitate those impacted by Domestic Violence. Our sorority works to prevent Domestic Violence as well as Sexual Violence through education of ourselves and our campus in addition to fundraising. We work together with organizations on campus such as VOICE to provide resources to prevent future acts violence and aid survivors.

ALPHA DELTA PI - Ronald McDonald House

Alpha Delta Pi proudly supports the Ronald McDonald House of Atlanta, an organization dedicated to providing comfort, care, and a home away from home for families whose children are receiving medical treatment at local hospitals. Through the provision of housing, meals, and other essential resources, RMH helps families stay together and focus on what matters most.

Alongside our signature philanthropy events, our members have the unique opportunity to serve families directly at the two local Atlanta locations through hands-on volunteer experiences, including dinner nights, family activity nights and more, building meaningful connections with the families we support.

ALPHA GAMMA DELTA - Fighting Hunger

Philanthropy Description:

"We work to end hunger through hands-on volunteering with numerous food banks and nonprofits in Atlanta, fundraising for Feeding America-affiliated organizations, and promoting food-insecurity awareness in our community. Locally, we fundraise for the Atlanta Community Food Bank and Meals on Wheels Atlanta."

"The Alpha Phi Foundation supports cardiac care and is partnered with the American Heart Association. It also gives support to sisters in need through scholarships, leadership development programs, and grants."

ALPHA XI DELTA - Kindly Hearts Campaign

Project Discription:

"Alpha Xi Delta's Kindly Hearts Initiative seeks to support children experiencing foster care or homelessness. Alpha Xi Delta believes that all children deserve love, support, and the opportunity to realize their potential. To contribute to the Kindly Hearts Initiative, our chapter works with local organizations, such as the Atlanta Angels and Atlanta Children’s Shelter, who provide for youth experiencing homelessness or living in the foster care system."

ALPHA OMEGA EPSILON - Dress for Success & FIRST Robotics

Philanthropy Description:

"Dress for Success is a non-profit organization that works to empower women to acheive economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire, and development tools. Dress for Success offers a variety of opportunities and resources, including professional workshops, skills training, and networking."

KAPPA ALPHA THETA - Court Appointed Special Advocates

"Court Appointed Special Advocates is a national association that provides abused or neglected children with a safe and healthy environment in permanent homes through support and promotion by court-appointed advocates. Last year, more than 251,000 foster care children across the nation were helped by CASA volunteers."

PHI MU - Children's Miracle Network

Philanthropy Description:

"Phi Mu's philanthropy is Children's Miracle Network, and our chapter specifically fundraises for the local Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Hospital. We raise money for heart center research and technology development as well as for Camp Braveheart, a summer camp for CHOA's heart patients!"

ZETA TAU ALPHA - Breast Cancer Education and Awareness

Philanthropy is a cornerstone of Zeta Tau Alpha. Our chapter is dedicated to supporting breast cancer awareness and education through impactful events such as the annual Strawberry Festival, Think Pink Weeks in the fall and spring, the Think Pink Gala, and Pink Out sporting events across campus. In addition to these signature events, our sisters actively participate in community service, contributing both time and energy to meaningful causes. Last year, our chapter raised $37,000 for breast cancer programs and completed over 300 service hours, reflecting our commitment to making a lasting difference.
